Expect 2-3 short wears to break these in. Synthetic leather is stiffer than genuine leather and does not mold to your foot shape the same way. The most common blister points are the back of the heel and where straps cross the top of the foot. Wear them around the house for an hour the first two times before taking them out. If you feel a hot spot developing, stop — a blister that forms on day one will hurt for a week.

What surfaces can I wear these on? Are they slippery on wet floors?

The RUBBER outsole grips well on dry indoor surfaces, pavement, and concrete. On wet tile or polished floors, these will be slippery — most open-toe styles are. The thinner heel will sink into grass and get stuck in grates or deck boards. These are best suited for hard, flat surfaces. For a wedding or outdoor event on grass, go with a wedge or flat style instead.

Are these suitable for wide feet, bunions, or plantar fasciitis?

These are fashion-first footwear and do not have built-in orthotic support. If you have plantar fasciitis, the flat footbed will likely cause heel pain after 30-60 minutes of standing. You can improve this by adding a stick-on arch support pad — they are inexpensive and make a noticeable difference. For bunions, check that the straps do not cross directly over the bunion joint. If they do, the friction will cause irritation within the first hour. Thong-style straps are not recommended if you have bunions, as the toe post can put pressure on the big toe joint. For wide feet, note that most of our styles are standard width. If your foot spills over the sides of the footbed, the style is too narrow and will cause edge pressure — go up half a size or choose an open-sided design.

How long will these last? How do I take care of them?

PU leather is more durable than suedette and easier to maintain. Wipe with a damp cloth to clean. It does not absorb water, so rain will not ruin them, but the stitching and insole can be affected by soaking. The material will not peel or crack for about 6-12 months of regular wear. After that, the surface coating may start to lift at flex points — this is normal for synthetic leather and not a defect.

What if they don't fit or I don't like them?

You have 30 days from delivery to return for a full refund, no questions asked. The shoes need to be unworn outdoors — indoor try-on is fine and expected. We check the soles when processing returns, so try them on carpet or clean floors rather than outside. If you are unsure about sizing, order two sizes and return the one that does not fit.
